Weather talk is so boring but I don't really have anything better to write about.
Alaska is like Mexico in that is has two distinct types of weather.
Mexico has:
1) Hot
2) Really Hot
Alaska has:
1) Winter
2) Summer
Right now, summer has kicked into gear. We've had highs around 75 degrees here in Anchorage that I've seen and it's damn hot. It's not Gulf Coast kind of hot but for us, it'll make you sweat.
I did a photoshoot yesterday in one of the parks in midtown and the mosquitoes were out in force but the weather was really nice. It was bright, sunshine with a light wind. It's the kind of thing that makes for awesome pictures here.
Julie pulled the comforters off the bed tonight since last night we were all hot with the fans on high. It's still a bit strange to not have central heat and a/c in your house. And I do miss it. I sometimes just sit in my vehicle and let the A/C crank wide open and listen to the radio. The music is nice, but the cold air is better.
